underneath you warned me to believe in you

If you’re ever thinking about buying a wifi enabled radio, do it. Mine arrived yesterday and it is AAAAAAAAAAAWESOME.

Mostly because I am one of those people who not only likes listening to the radio, but also likes gadgets that just do one thing at a time. My phone is a phone. I can make and receive calls and texts. That’s about it. It has WAP, for cinema listings and answering the question “why are there so many people in football tshirts in town today?” It has a startlingly loud alarm clock that imitates a cockerel. It’s also possibly over 5 years old and is my second phone ever tm, which I bought to replace the brick I had that started to go a bit funny when I dropped it too many times *.

BUT YES. This is an AAAAWESOME radio. It’s better than the traditional radio/cd player I have (because it can actually pick up london stations clearly). It plays internet radio reeeeeeeeally clearly. I can subscribe to and listen to podcasts on it. It is full of musical technological WIZARDRY. Yaaaaaaaaay

*Incidentally, my first phone was really good for koshing people over the head with.

unwillingly mine

I only just got around to watching yesterday’s Doctor Who. It was all a bit creepy.

The other day I spent rather a lot of money on some tech. HOWEVER, I did manage to get the white version at the same price (including shipping) as the black and walnut versions are (without shipping). I have no idea why on the site I started at, the white and red versions were like £20 more than the black and walnut ones. I…don’t get why a different colour costs more.

At least it will match my room. Which is, of course, the most important part about buying any kind of electrical items. 😀

Mmm lemony.
