On Saturday, I went to see Oedipus at the National Theatre, with Ralph Fiennes in the title role. It was pretty good, if heavy going and a tad grim. But then it is like, a big fat greek tragedy.

As it were.

Other things:

1. New Doctor has no eyebrows.

2. I’m almost halfway through my Christmas selection box.

3. While I’m not superstitious, I’ve only just realised that I’ve narrowly missed chopping the thread of my good luck by booking a haircut 5 days before the New Year.

4. I wonder if there are any Percy Pigs left.
