Which is a shame as I’ve just had it serviced. Might have to trade it in for a new one.

Tomorrow is Chinese New Year, so since I’ll probably be doing other things tomorrow and forget, Happy New Year everyone.

Theoretically, we’re not celebrating Chinese New Year because we’ve had a recent death in the family – which is why we’ve not had any cards or happy new year emails from the family in Malaysia. However, I’m only half-Chinese and my mum’s lived in Britain for most of her life so sod all that. We’ve both taken the day off and are gonna go out and PAR-TAY*.

In other news, short hair is awesome. It dries so quickly. I can roll out of bed late and forget to brush my hair AND NO ONE CAN TELL.

The minor downside is that my hair is two colours (natural and dyed) and not intentionally two colours. I’m still itching to bleach my head and dye it bright mad colours. Like pink and green stripes or something. I’m still resisting the urge successfully though. 😀

I’m gonna dye it all one colour some time this week though – and I’m switching back to the blue-black I used to have when I was 14 rather than the sort of burgundy/dark brown colour I’ve been doing since I had to stop having pink hair. We’ll see how it goes. I vaguely remember it making me look even paler than I usually do when I last had hair like this. So. Yeah.

* By “PAR-TAY”, I really mean we’ll go out and eat nice food all day pretty much. That’s about it.
